Who can register

  • Students currently in Basic 6, JSS1, JSS2 or SS1 — from any school (incl. Life Baker Basic 6)
  • They compete for their September class: JSS1, JSS2, JSS3 or SS2
  • Current Life Baker secondary students aren't eligible for prizes this edition

The 85% benchmark

The Grand Scholarship requires a score of at least 85% and 1st place in the category. If no participant meets it, Life Baker may choose not to award the Grand prize in that category.

Fair & reviewed

Registration is free, but every entry is reviewed before approval. False information, duplicate entries, impersonation or misconduct lead to disqualification.

Does the Grand prize really cover school fees?+
Yes. It covers tuition at Life Baker Group of Schools all the way to graduation — no school fees for the winner's family. It's academic value (not cash) and requires ≥85% and 1st in category.
Is registration really free?+
Completely free — no fee to register or enter.
Who can take part?+
Students currently in Basic 6, JSS1, JSS2 or SS1 — from any school, plus Life Baker Basic 6 pupils. They compete for the class they enter this September (JSS1, JSS2, JSS3 or SS2). Current Life Baker secondary students aren't eligible for prizes this edition.
What happens after I register?+
We review your entry and, if approved, contact you with the category, preparation support and CBT date — and request documents then.
Is this a scholarship application?+
No — it's an academic competition. Scholarships are awarded based on performance and the competition rules.
Will it be CBT-based?+
Yes. The competition is a timed, computer-based assessment.
What score qualifies for the Grand Scholarship?+
A minimum of 85%, alongside 1st in category, verification and final approval.
Does taking part guarantee a prize?+
No. Prizes are based on performance, ranking, audit, verification, the rules and final approval.
What documents will I need?+
None to register. If your child is approved, we'll request a passport photo, recent result and birth certificate / school ID.
